HIJ Public Health

HIJ Public Health is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing public health research, policy, and practice through the publication of high-quality, evidence-based scholarship. Peer Review Process

HIJ Public Health follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scientific quality and integrity. Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment followed by evaluation by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, scientific merit, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Ethics and Publication Policy

HIJ Public Health is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Journal History

HIJ Public Health was established in 2026 as a specialized journal under the Health Innovation Journal (HIJ) family of publications. Founded in Pakistan, the journal was created to promote high-quality public health research and facilitate the exchange of knowledge that strengthens health systems, informs policy, and improves population health across local, regional, and global communities.

The journal is managed by an independent editorial board comprising distinguished national and international experts in public health, epidemiology, health policy, and related disciplines.
