Author Instructions

Submission Overview

HIJ invites original research articles, reviews, case reports, short communications, and letters to the editor. Only original manuscripts not under consideration or previously published elsewhere will be accepted.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online via the HIJ website. The corresponding author should register or log into an account to navigate the five-step submission process. Manuscripts should be anonymized to exclude authors' details, which must be provided separately in the metadata section. Supplementary files (e.g., datasets, fee documents) can be attached as needed.

ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) Requirement

HIJ requires all submitting authors to provide a valid ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) at the time of manuscript submission. ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes authors and ensures accurate attribution of scholarly work.

The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have registered ORCID iDs and that these are correctly entered in the manuscript submission system. Authors who do not already have an ORCID iD are encouraged to register for free at the ORCID website prior to submission.

ORCID iDs will be published alongside the author information in the final article to enhance transparency, author identification, and discoverability. Failure to provide valid ORCID iDs for all authors may result in delays in the review or publication process.
